Meera’s primary interests are in queer mental health through Global South perspectives. She is based in Canada and works in the School of Public Health at University of Victoria, British Columbia. Her first visit to Kolkata in December 2023 formed an important part of her post-doctoral research, which continued in December 2024, and was completed in Brazil in 2024. She is attempting to transform both professional practice and graduate education, to better serve practitioners and clients.
