Marc Ohrem-Leclef is a German based in Brooklyn, New York and collaborates with communities – whether they are formed by bloodlines, social circumstance or cultural movement – to generate visibility for people and issues lacking representation. A MacDowell Colony Fellow (2018), his photographs and film have been exhibited in Brazil, Germany, India, Spain, UK and USA; his work is held in collection of Museo de Arte do Rio (Brazil), and reviewed in publications such as 'Artnews', 'Artforum', 'British Journal of Photography', 'Der Spiegel', 'Hyperallergic' and 'Slate'.
