Karthik Hebbar is an art activist based out of Bangalore and has established himself as a playwright, director and theatre practitioner. He’s also a Carnatic classical vocalist-composer and has contributed to the classical dance / music fraternity with his innovative poetry, compositions, lecture demonstrations and critical writing. Karthik indulges in photography, writes columns for leading publications, and has published short stories in Kannada. He’s also worked in the television industry as a writer and actor. He’s often invited to speak at diversity forums and queer initiatives.
